ŠKODA SCALA World Premiere
ŠKODA revealed the new ŠKODA SCALA in Tel Aviv for the very first time last night (6th December 2018).
The ŠKODA SCALA world premiere was attended by over 400 guests, with many thousands more watching in anticipation via an internet live stream.
The SCALA represents the next big step in ŠKODA’s design language, offering stunning design as well as high levels of practicality. The name ‘SCALA’ comes from the Latin for ‘stairs’ or ‘ladder’, further cementing the car’s functional personality.
The model features state-of-the-art connectivity and exceptional passive and active safety. Full-LED headlights and tail lights, generous luggage space and many Simply Clever features make this a truly exciting new car in the range. It is also the first production model to use design features from the VISION RS concept study.
Before the ŠKODA SCALA was revealed, it also played a starring role in an art project in Prague last week. Czech street artist Chemis gave the SCALA an extravagant camouflaged look next to the famous John Lennon Wall, which has been a symbolic place for people to express opinions and art for many years. The theme of ‘Courage’ perfectly encapsulates the history of the John Lennon Wall as well as ŠKODA’s exciting new vehicle design developments.
