Registrations Now Open For All-New Electric Corsa
Vauxhall has opened reservations for the all-new electric Corsa-e.
The model, which is the flag-bearer for the upcoming new Corsa range, is set to be available from £26,490 including the Government’s £3,500 Plug-in Car Grant. Plus, the first 500 customers who place an order will receive a free home charging kit.
The Corsa-e is based on Vauxhalls CMP Multi-Energy Platform. With 136PS from its 50KWh battery and acceleration from 0-62mph in just 8.1 seconds, it is set to boast impressive performance round every turn. With a 205-mile WLTP range + 80% charging in 30 minutes, it’s a vehicle that is bound to appeal to a broad range.
There will be two impressive trim levels available, both of which will come as standard with a 7-inch touch screen, 11kWh on-board charger, satellite navigation, LED headlights, alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and DAB radio. Other exciting offerings include lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot assist and adaptive cruise control.
Also as standard is the Corsa-e’s impressive battery warranty, which guarantees that at least 70 percent of its capacity is maintained for 100,000 miles or eight years.
Full specifications and range pricing will be available when the Corsa-e enjoys its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Series production is then expected to start in January 2020.
