Vauxhall Celebrates Vivaro Van World Premiere
The Vauxhall Vivaro was recently given its world premiere at the CV Show in Birmingham.
The model took pride of place on the Vauxhall stand (EC40) at the NEC, wowing UK show goers for the very first time. Both panel van and doublecab body styles were on show. Also on the stand was the 2019 International Van of the Year, the Vauxhall Combo Cargo, making its UK show debut. Also on display was the Movano L1H2 panel van mounted with a Hawk VZ135 reverse articulated telescopic device to impress visitors.
Stephen Norman, Vauxhall’s Group Managing Director, commented “As the UK’s largest CV manufacturer celebrating its 90th year of van production, we’re proud to present a new Vivaro model that not only has class-leading credentials, but also secures the future of our Luton workforce for many years to come.”
The Vauxhall Vivaro is a true class-leader, offering a 100PS 1.5-litre engine which returns 22 per-cent lower emissions and 16 per cent-higher miles per gallon than the market leader. It also offers fewer emissions and impressive figures of 57.6mpg. The Vivaro’s payload of up to 1489kgs is also higher than the market leader’s.
The van is available from £22,918 and there are currently three trim levels; Edition, Sportive and Elite. Standard features on the van include Dual Side Sliding Door, Driver/Passenger Airbags, and Cruise Control with speed-limiter. The top-of-the-range Elite model comes with many standard safety technologies such as Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detectio0n and Intelligent Speed Adaptation.
The Vauxhall Vivaro is available to order now and will be in showrooms this summer. For more information contact Caffyns Vauxhall today.
