Vauxhall Reveals First Images Of New Combo-e Life

Vauxhall has released the first images of the new fully electric Combo-e Life, giving families the practical features of the award-winning Combo-Life van with the addition of zero-emissions driving.

The new Combo-e Life has an impressive range of up to 174 miles in WLTP testing on a single charge and is available in two sizes: Medium (4.40m long) and XL (4.75m long). Medium variants are available in five or seven seat configurations, whilst the XL is available exclusively with seven seats.

This new model features a 50kWh lithium-ion battery and a 100kW (136PS) electric motor, which is capable of up to 260Nm of torque. This also means it can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 11.2 seconds. The Combo-e Life can be charged via a three-pin domestic plug, Wallbox charger or up to 100kW rapid charging via public stations. All models come with a single-phase 7.4kW on-board charger and optional three-phase 11kW charger. Using 100kW rapid charging, a full charge can be achieved in just 30 minutes, ideal for when you’re on the go.

Whichever variant you choose, a comfortable and connected drive is guaranteed. 597 litres of boot space is available in the Medium variant, extending up to 2,126 litres of space with the rear row folded. XL variants come with 850 litres of space, and up to 2,693 litres with the rear rows folded. The Combo-e Life is also capable of towing up to 750kg and features trailer stability technology.

For an even more spacious feel, the model is available with an electronically controlled panoramic roof, which not only improves natural light but offers additional overhead storage, offering 36-litres of additional space and LED roof lights.

The cabin is packed full of useful features such as AppleCarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Navi Pro system and 8-inch touchscreen with live traffic updates. Class-leading driver aids and safety features are also included, such as forward collision alert with pedestrian protection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, electronic traction control and hill descent control. An optional Surround Rear Vision camera is also available.

To help you make the most of electric driving, the VauxhallConnect app allows drivers to access features including live traffic updates, vehicle information and charge status. Drivers can also plan their route using the navigation feature, with charging points visible on the map.

The Combo-e Life will be available in showrooms this autumn.
