Volkswagen Have Announced A Series Of Range Updates

Customers now have a wider range of choices for the trim levels and engine options available for the new T-Roc, Polo and Arteon. The T-Roc is now offered in the entry-level S trim, priced from £18,950, which is fitted with a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, capable of producing 113bhp. The SEL model is also available, priced from £28,345 and paired with a four-wheel drive, 148bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both engines come with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new Polo is due to be launched in January and Volkswagen have now revealed an entry level 1.0-litre TSI engine, which produces 74bhp and is available on the SE and Beats trim models. Available from £15,060 in the SE trim, the engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The SEL trim has a more powerful version of the same engine, which is capable of producing 113bhp.

Volkswagen have also revealed that the new executive Arteon will be offered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 148bhp. The engine also features clever cylinder deactivation technology to help save fuel. Customers will also have the choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG gearboxes for the Elegance and R-Line models.
