Volvo Cars Are The Official Car of the Nobel Week.
For the second year in a row, Volvo Cars have been the Official Car of the Nobel Week, offering up to 30 cars including the new S90 Excellence Lounge, XC90 and new XC60 to transport Nobel Laureates and VIPs to the Nobel Prize Awards and Nobel Banquet, held in Stockholm.
Nobel Media and Volvo Cars continue their collaboration for a second year, after coming together in 2017 thanks to the company’s common spirit of providing a better quality of life using science and innovation. Noble Media is committed to serving science itself and making the world better because of science, whilst Volvo Cars aims to create technology itself and create technology that is beneficial for human beings.
This years Nobel Week served the perfect stage for Volvo to debut their new S90 Excellence Lounge, the most luxurious and executive sedan created by the brand. The car is the fist Chinese-made three-seat presidential-level luxury vehicle in the world. Volvo Cars and Nobel prize Award have strong Scandinavian heritage and the new S90 Excellence Lounge aims to offer privileged luxury experiences for drivers and passengers on the road, helped along by the introduction of technical innovation and design.
Senior Vice President of Volvo Car group, Yuan Xiaolin, said: “We are honoured by the fact that the S90 Excellence Lounge is able to serve the most extraordinary scientists and innovative talents during the Nobel Week, which will help promote the recognition of Chinese smart and innovative design worldwide.”
The interior design of the S90 Excellence Lounge is innovative and bold, providing more space for passengers in the rear seats. The vehicles engine is an impressive eco-friendly plug-in hybrid that consumes less gas and has a high driving performance.
