SEAT Connects With Performance By Stay Homas
SEAT have streamed their first live performance as part of their partnership with global, trend setting, Barcelona band Stay Homas. SEAT's passion is to connect its community around the world with live concerts by Stay Homas on Twitter. The first concert was streamed exclusively via SEAT's official Twitter account on Friday 8th May at 7pm.
The Stay Homas band members are three young musicians aged between 25 and 28 years old including dubbing actor, composer and trumpet player Klaus Stroink, trombone player and vocalist Guillem Bolto and bass player and guitarist Rai Benet. Their first live Twitter performance was filmed from the terrace of their shared flat in Barcelona. They started singing song about the situation created by COVID-19, and have become globally famous in just two months. They recently signed their first record contract with Sony, they have gone from making covers to having their own songs performed by others. Michael Buble sang his own version of 'Gotta Be Patient', one of the band's most popular songs.
"Throughout the lockdown, at SEAT we aimed to stay connected to people around the globe with a variety of activities. For a brand 'Created in Barcelona', now offering a concert of the young and optimistic, "Stay Homas", band from our town, is a great match.”
- Jason Lusty, SEAT Global Marketing Director
With music appealing to much of SEAT's community, it reaffirms their commitment to being close to their customers, who are the youngest in Europe. SEAT has made music one of its basic pillars, both inside and outside their vehicles, along with art and culture. They were the first automaker worldwide to incorporate Shazam into their vehicles in 2018, and today their vehicles also integrated Spotify thanks to Full Link technology.
