KODIAQ Called Up To Help British Army’s White Knight 36 Exercise in Switzerland

The Army’s Royal Armoured Corps and Army Air Corps recently called upon ŠKODA UK to lend them a support vehicle for their Exercise White Knight 36.

Needing a rugged 4x4 that could cope with the demands of an alpine skiing rance training camp in Switzerland, the KODIAQ vRS felt like the perfect choice. During the exercise the model proved itself to be a vital member of the team, transporting support personnel, sponsors and British military officers. The practical seven-seater provides long-distance comfort and generous space to ensure everyone rode in agile style.

“The KODIAQ proved itself to be an invaluable part of the team. We needed a 4x4 to cope with all ground conditions, including ice and snow, and it coped phenomenally well; carrying kit and personnel for the length of the exercise.”

- Major Thomas Seccombe, Exercise White Knight Second in Command

Exercise White Knight is an annual Royal Armoured Corps and Army Air Corps Alpline skiing championship. The exercise is designed to build confidence and provide an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of alpine ski racing for five weeks.

The ŠKODA KODIAQ is one of the manufacturer’s most successful models, with more than 20 automotive industry awards to its name since its launch in 2017.
