Transaction Manager
An exciting opportunity to lead sales performance, customer experience and finance operations within a busy automotive retailer. We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Transaction Manager to join our sales team and play a key role in driving finance, insurance and value-added product performance.

About the role
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will control the day-to-day activity of the sales team on the showroom floor. You will support Sales Executives, monitor enquiries and customer visits, improve sales processes and help the department achieve its commercial, customer satisfaction and compliance objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support the sales team to deliver new and used vehicle sales and departmental budgets.
- Maximise appropriate finance, insurance and value-adding product opportunities while achieving balanced profitability.
- Manage deal stacking and ensure robust, consistent sales processes are followed.
- Monitor enquiries, showroom activity, referrals, renewals and monthly performance.
- Coach Sales Executives to understand customer needs and present suitable products clearly and professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and match customers with appropriate financial solutions.
- Ensure customer applications, agreements, part-exchange settlements and management-system records are complete and accurate.
- Support campaigns, advertising and promotional activity alongside the Head of Business and General Sales Manager.
- Maintain product and competitor knowledge and follow up customers after purchase.
- Help deliver high standards of customer care, process efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About you
You will be commercially focused, organised and confident supporting a fast-paced sales team. You will communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and financial partners, demonstrate strong attention to detail and be committed to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
You will understand the importance of working within company policy and all relevant legislation, including Financial Conduct Authority requirements and data protection obligations. You must be able to provide certified proof of FCA competency or complete the required training and competency assessment when you join.
