The Motability Scheme helps disabled people become more mobile by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a new car.  If you or your child receives one of the following allowances and has at least 12 months remaining on the award, you are eligible to lease a car from Motability:

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  This allowance is currently £71 per week.
• Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  This allowance is currently £71 per week.
• War Pensioner’s Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  This allowance is currently £79.25 per week.
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
  The mobility element of the allowance is currently £71 per week.
