MG have welcomed the all-new MG4 EV Urban to the UK with the original MG4 returning with stronger technology and enhanced performance.

As an affordable electric vehicle, the MG4 EV Urban starts from just £23,495. The MG4 EV continues with its focus on value for money and driving quality, starting from £29,995 with the Premium Long Range model whilst the Premium Extended Range delivers an impressive 338 miles, priced from £32,995.

MG features an impressive history with over 100,000 EV sales at the UK market. It focuses on making electric motoring more affordable in 2026.
The MG EV Urban has created a space for everyone with it outperforming other EV hatchbacks. There is generous headroom for all passengers in both the front and rear, with additional space in the second row for leg and knee room. There are 30 storage spaces throughout the cabin making it a superior option compared to other cars in its class. Additionally, there is 479 litres of boot space with the rear seats in place. When the rear seats are folded down there is a total of 1,364 litres of space available.
The interior features a dual-screen layout with a 12.8” HD touchscreen and 7” HD Driver Display. As standard, the MG4 EV Urban comes with the MG iSMART for smartphone connectivity as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
MG Pilot offers 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with the function for the driver to customise and store their preferred features with the central touchscreen. Additionally, for an extra feature, the 360-degree panoramic camera on the Premium model ensures a real-time view on the central screen to assist with parking and any blind spots.
There are additional battery choices for the MG4 EV Urban, including a 43kWh Standard Range and a 54kWh Long Range battery. The Long Range battery delivers up to 258 miles of electric driving range. Additionally, the 43kWh battery reaches a 10% to 80% charge in just 28 minutes while the 54kWh battery takes 30 minutes.
It has achieved the Euro NCAP’s highest 5-Star rating. There are a total of 7 airbags and 90% of the body is made from high-strength steel.
The MG4 EV Urban features powerful LED headlights with a full-width light bar at the rear. There are six colours to choose from with a newly introduced Stone Green.
MG have further enhanced the MG4 EV with battery improvements. The MG4 EV Premium Long Range features a 64kWh battery with 280 miles. The Premium Extended Range features a 77kWh battery with a range of up to 338 miles while the MG4 EV XPOWER features a dual motor and AWD, launching 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds.
They will all feature new 18” alloy wheels with a sporty design. Three additional colours have also been introduced with the Ealing Green, Cosmic Silver and Piccadilly Blue.
The interior of the MG4 EV offers a more premium ambience with a suite of technology and comfort features which are also built into the MGS5 EV and MGS6 EV. Drivers will also enjoy a new 10.25” LCD Driver Display and a new HD 12.8” centre touchscreen.
