CUPRA is further expanding its collaboration with ABT, with an exciting new lineup of customised vehicles, including the Leon and Formentor.
The collaboration sets to add a new dimension to the brands’ relationship, moving beyond racing and into road vehicles. CUPRA and ABT have worked together in the past on many exciting projects, from the off-road racing Extreme E series in the most remote corners of the plant impacted by climate change as part of the ABT CUPRA XE team, to the all-electric Formula E and the ABT CUPRA team.
Now, from 2026, the collaboration intends to give CUPRA models an exclusive treatment to intensify their design, starting with the CUPRA Leon and Formentor. The exciting new chapter was presented at ABT’s headquarters in Kempton, Germany.

The new versions of the CUPRA Leon and Formentor will be available globally, featuring a range of subtle new design elements. The models will feature a distinctive roof spoiler, front and rear splitter, side skirt, diffuser, aerodynamic parts and ABT elements such as 21” ABT-specific wheels.

Both the Leon and Formentor are designed, developed and produced at the brand’s factory in Martorell. Continuing to be inspired by Barcelona and challenge conventions, a future collaboration for the upcoming CUPRA Raval is also in the works. This all-electric urban car will be designed and developed for a more rebellious electric world.
