CUPRA has reached an impressive milestone with the production of its millionth car. This milestone was hit by the CUPRA Formentor at its Mortorell factory; it has been their most successful model. This accomplishment was reached in only seven years, showcasing its position as one of the fastest growing automotive brands in Europe.

CUPRA was established in 2018 inside the Volkswagen Group as an alternative for car lovers. It was seen as an instigator of creativity and innovation. Each CUPRA has been design led and performance driven. The Ateca was the first to feature the badge; the Leon was redesigned to be a standalone CUPRA model; the Formentor was developed exclusively by the brand; the Born was the first 100% electric model; the Tavascan was the first all-electric SUV coupe and the Terramar is CUPRA’s sporty SUV. In 2026, the Raval will be joining the brand, making electromobility more accessible.
The CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID in Magnetic Tech matt was the vehicle to reach the millionth car sold milestone. It features CUPRA’s new design language with the shark-nose front end and illuminated CUPRA logo in the rear light. The interior is of high quality with newly designed centre console, door panels, dashboard and upholsteries. It is also fitted with a new generation of plug-in hybrid powertrain and delivers an impressive power of 272PS.
To celebrate the milestone, CUPRA is holding a raffle for the CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID amongst its employees for a three-year period. This vehicle will also become a part of the company’s historic car collection.
