Euro NCAP continuously evolves its testing protocols to ensure vehicles offer the highest levels of protection not only for drivers and passengers but also for pedestrians and other road users. In 2025, the organisation will introduce even stricter standards, including updated biomechanical assessment, multilingual rescue sheets, vehicle immersion testing, and enhanced pedestrian impact evaluations with new leg impactors. Additional active safety scenarios will also be added to further reduce road casualties.
