Audi Sport have unveiled an exclusive special-edition model of the RS 3 competition limited. There will be only 750 examples built with only 11 coming to the UK.
It will feature a sportier aesthetic with an assertive Singleframe unit and air intakes on either side. There are badgers in heritage colours at the front and rear showcasing its individuality. The special edition is set to appear even wider with the two new canards on either front corner, made up of carbon to match the vertical blades on the air curtains.
The imposing 19-inch wheels with 10 cross spokes are finished in Neodymium gold matte whilst the mirror caps, side skirts, and a rear spoiler are finished in matte carbon. Unique to the special edition will be the darkened matrix LED headlights that create a 1-2-4-5-3 pattern when locking or unlocking, inspired by the five-cylinder engine’s firing order.
All 11 examples coming to the UK will be finished in Malachite green.
The interior also highlights the exclusive style with the colour combination of black, Neodymium gold, and Ginger white. There is door lighting which projects: “RS 3 competition limited”. The highly contoured RS bucket seats have been designed to keep driver and passenger in place when the driver utilises dynamic cornering to ensure occupants remain comfortable.
The 10.1-inch informs the driver about key information regarding the RS performance. These include the temperature ranges of the coolant, tyre pressure, and torque splitter. The driver is aware of the vehicle's performance at all times with the key information.
The inline five-cylinder engine of the Audi RS comes with a 2.5 litres of displacement with 294kW and 500Nm. The RS 3 competition limited accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 180mph. The sound of the five-cylinder engine evokes emotion with its distinctive sound which is sure to reach passengers even more directly as a result of the reduced insulation around the firewall.
It will also feature a coilover suspension with a new rear stabiliser which was specially designed for the RS 3 competition limited. To ensure high performance, the front shock absorbers have external reservoirs to ensure consistent performance even with high loads, so each drive will be high-performing.
The driver will also have more freedom with the adjustable rebound, to change how the vehicle reacts to corners and control over its handling. This can be altered in 16 steps with high damping on rebound ensuring handling is precise and direct while the lower damping on rebound increases ride comfort.
It is priced from £92,855 with deliveries expected towards the end of 2026.
