Lotus has always been for the drivers—on the road and the track. The return of Team Lotus reaffirms the brand's dedication to global competition and motorsport culture.
With over 75 years of racing heritage, passion, and expertise, Lotus’ motorsport initiatives now unite under one global identity: Team Lotus. This brings together factory-supported programs, partner racing teams, Lotus Cup championships, driver development, and a worldwide community of race fans. A renewed spirit of unity fuels Lotus' drive for performance, shared ambitions, and commitment to supporting racing communities and drivers around the world.
“Motorsport has been in Lotus’ DNA from the very beginning, with hundreds of Lotus cars competing in classic, national, and international races every weekend. Team Lotus unites that passion at every level. Whether it’s GT, endurance, or grassroots racing, we are committed to supporting teams and drivers who share our love for the sport.”
- Gavan Kershaw, Director and Head of Motorsports at Lotus Cars
Team Lotus begins its revival with a growing line-up of partner teams and customers, as the Emira GT4 takes on global competition in 2025. This includes Mahiki Racing in the British GT4 and Pegasus Racing in the SRO GT Cup in Shanghai.
As we celebrate Lotus’ iconic legacy in Formula 1 during the sport’s 75th anniversary, Team Lotus is focused on re-establishing our presence in motorsport and reigniting our passion for racing.
Embodying the Team Lotus identity, a bold new race livery has been crafted for 2025. Combining Lotus' signature Lotus yellow with inspiration from our most legendary designs, it represents a forward-looking vision for Team Lotus and the future of racing.
