Lotus has expanded its Emira line-up with the addition of the powerful new Emira Turbo SE, joining the existing Emira V6. Both models build on the strong foundations of the previous First Edition variants, which captivated driving enthusiasts worldwide.
The Emira Turbo SE’s name pays homage to Lotus’ rich heritage, reflecting both its 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine and the era when turbocharging first emerged in automotive performance.
Equipped with a powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine paired with an 8-speed DCT gearbox, sourced from technology partner AMG, the Emira Turbo SE delivers impressive performance. Power output has increased by 40 bhp to reach 400 bhp, with torque rising by 50 Nm to 480 Nm. This enhanced powertrain enables a top speed of 180 mph and an impressive 0-62 mph acceleration time of just 4.0 seconds.
Beyond its performance upgrades, the Emira Turbo SE boasts a supercar-inspired design. The Lotus Drivers Pack comes as standard, featuring sports suspension settings, upgraded cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, and launch control. Visually, the Emira Turbo SE sports newly finished 20” V-spoke forged satin grey wheels, a sleek Zinc Grey paint finish, an Alcantara headliner, red brake callipers, exclusive ‘Emira Turbo SE’ badging, and new black Lotus branding with matching tailpipes.
