MG Motor UK has been named ‘EV Manufacturer of the Year’ at the 2024 GreenFleet Awards. Judges were impressed with the brand’s comprehensive line up of high quality electric models, which are accessible to all.
The GreenFleet Awards are now in their 20th year, celebrating those who are leading the way in reducing emissions. MG has now won this award twice, having previously secured the title back in 2022. This second win shows MG’s dedication to offering drivers exceptional MG models at accessible prices. The manufacturer beat six other finalists to win the award.
Electric vehicles now account for 74% of the brand’s True Fleet sales, a key driver in their significant growth over the last seven years. Annual vehicle sales have increased from 10,000 to over 80,000 with a total market share of over 4%.
The MG4 EV is MG’s most practical and affordable EV, ready for families and businesses alike. The Extended Range version features a 77kWh battery which provides up to 323 miles of emissions-free driving range, with the ability to charge up to 80% in just 35 minutes.
The MG Cyberster also shows MG’s commitment to innovation. The electric convertible roadster not only offers impressive driving range but still showcases MG’s racing heritage thanks to its sleek design.

MG has expanded its dealer network to over 150 locations and also plans to launch a new courtesy car scheme. The scheme will provide fleet operators with replacement vehicles for up to 96 hours, so businesses can keep moving with minimal disruption. To support fleet services even further, MG has introduced the MG Fleet Charter, establishing clear response times and service levels tailored to the needs of fleet customers.
For the remainder of 2025, MG is preparing to launch additional EV models to further expand their offerings, including a mid-size SUV that will help to further secure MG as a leader in affordable electric mobility.
