Details of the upcoming new Audi A6 Avant have been revealed, offering drivers dynamic design, exceptional aerodynamics, enhanced efficiency and greater performance.
The new Audi A6 Avant is set to go on sale on 1st April priced from £52,510, with first deliveries due in the middle of June. The UK line-up will be comprised of Sport, S line and Edition 1 specifications. Based on the Premium Platform Combustion, the model is powered by petrol and diesel engines with mild-hybrid technology MHEV plus.

The new A6 Avant boasts a long wheelbase, large wheels, and a sculpted body, creating a perfectly proportioned model. The front looks sporty thanks to its low-positioned Singleframe grille, along with sleek headlights and raised Audi rings. All UK models come with digital LED daytime running lights as standard. At the rear, modern headlights and vertical brake lights emphasise the model’s impressive width.
Drivers can choose between 10 different exterior colours, including solid finish Arkona White. Glacier White, Mythos Black, Grenadine Red, Florett Silver, Firmament Blue, Ascari Blue, Midnight Green and Chronos Grey are available in metallic finishes, whilst Dayton Grey is available with pearl effect. A wide selection of wheels are also available from 18” to 21”. The entry level Sport specification comes with 18” as standard, with 19” offered for the S line specification. Top Edition 1 models come with 20” Graphite grey wheels, with 21” alloys as an option.
Inside, drivers can enjoy exceptional comfort and space, with the model being 60mm longer than the previous A6 Avant. There is also ample space for luggage thanks to its 503 litre boot, extending to 1,534 litres with the back seats down completely. Seats, softwrap, door panels and armrests are optionally available in more sustainable materials such as Cascade fabric or Dinamica microfiber. The cabin features an Audi MMI panoramic display with curved design. The virtual cockpit consists of 11.9” display and 14.5” MMI touch display, perfect for navigation, streaming and more. Four-zone climate control offers exceptional comfort for all passengers.
At its launch, the new A6 Avant will be available with two different engines, one petrol and one diesel – 2.0 TFSI 104PS and 2.0 TDI 204PS. The diesel version features mild hybrid technology (MHEV plus), meaning it is partly electrified and perfect for city driving. The diesel engine also comes with all-wheel-drive system quattro ultra as standard for greater driving dynamics. What’s more, three suspension setups are available across the range to offer precise control, sportiness and comfort round every turn.
The new Audi A6 Avant is equipped with numerous modern driver assistance systems as standard, increasing convenience and safety on every journey. The “Drive and Park” assistance package is a standard feature and includes adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter that responds to traffic signs, traffic sign recognition, a rear-view camera, and park assist plus. Other standard features include park assist plus with distance display, lane departure warning, cross-traffic assist, swerve assist, front turn assist, and the emergency brake assistant.
