The new Volvo ES90 is now available to order in the UK. This exciting new model boasts the elegance of a saloon, with the adaptability of the fastback and the space and high ground clearance of an SUV. It’s the perfect model for big family adventures or navigating city streets.
The ES90 is the sixth fully electric model the Volvo line-up, joining the EX90, EM90, EX40, EX40 and EX30.

The Volvo ES90 has been designed to evolve over time, powered by next-generation core computers. It is also the first Volvo to feature 800V technology for a longer range and faster charging than any electric Volvo before. 300km of range can be added in just 10 minutes at 350Kw fast charging stations, with an impressive electric range of up to 700km available.
The ES90 boasts a raised ride height and flowing roofline to create a commanding stance on the road. Thor’s Hammer headlights add to the modern look, also complemented by new C-shaped LED rear lamps and LED lamps in the rear window. Customers can choose from seven exterior colours as well as four-wheel options – from 20 to 22 inches. 424 litres of boot space comes as standard, which expands to a generous 733 litres with all three rear seats folded down. An additional 22 litre frunk at the front is the ideal space for charging cables.
Inside, driver and passengers can enjoy a cabin that focuses on premium comfort and intuitive design. The long 3.1 metre wheelbase means second-row passengers can enjoy outstanding legroom, whilst six ambient light themes further add to passenger wellbeing. A panoramic roof comes as standard, providing up to 99.9 percent UV protection whilst flooding the cabin with natural light. Four-zone climate control allows everyone to remain comfortable, with an advanced air purifier that’s asthma and allergy friendly.
The ES90 is equipped with a new-generation infotainment system with Google built-in, providing seamless access to Google Maps, Google Assistant and apps on Google Play. A 14.5" centre screen display provides access to navigation, entertainment, climate, phone and more. Plus, a new 3D view supported by 360-degree camera is there for those tricker manoeuvres.

As all Volvos are, the ES90 has been designed to offer optimum protection for everyone in and around the car. The model comes with a safety cage, state-of-the-art restraint systems, as well as optimised deformation zones. Active safety systems are powered by sensors, including one lidar, five radars, seven cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors, all which enables vision beyond the human range to help avoid collisions and hazards. Volvo’s pioneering driver-understanding system also comes as standard, detecting when the driver’s attention is no longer focused on the road, stepping in to support.
