The popular Škoda Elroq and Enyaq, ranking second and seventh with Europe’s best-selling electric vehicles in 2025, are both scheduled for an update at the end of June.
Both vehicles were placed in the top 10 sales charts in the UK in 2025 with the Enyaq family reaching fifth for best-selling BEV with 11,941 deliveries whilst the Elroq ranked seventh with 10,713. The Elroq also took home the ‘German Car of the Year’ award 2026 whilst placing second in European ‘Car of the Year 2026’. It is one of the leading models in the EV markets in Denmark, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Slovakia.
In the upcoming model year, the Elroq and Enyaq models feature a modernised Android-based infotainment system for a new look and feel. It also delivers a redesigned home screen, grid layout, favourites and search functions. Additionally, there is an enhanced personalisation option for a more intuitive experience.
Customers can expect a new in-car app store which will make additional features available from the infotainment system including the Škoda apps, Spotify and YouTube.
Škoda vehicles will also have access to a digital key which will allow the driver to access their vehicle with their smartphone. They can share this access with family members by the smartphone’s built-in wallet app.
For ease, customers will be able to find the nearest charging station with Škoda’s own charging service, Powerpass, accessed from navigation. They will be able to view prices and enable charging authorisation from the navigation screen. With the MyŠkoda app, it will be able to provide detailed information regarding energy consumption, complementing charging overview and history. It will also assist with navigation by pinpointing charging stopovers with EV route planning.
Further model year changes will bring a frunk, adding an additional 21 litre capacity under the bonnet, with ventilated mobile phone wireless charging to support the Qi2 Magnetic Power Profile, compatible with iPhone 12s and above.
For a smoother driving experience, the Travel Assist 3.0 has been updated, featuring new radars and more precise lane guidance, smoother speed control and broader safety features. These include allowing the vehicle to stop at traffic lights or STOP signs for enhanced assistance when driving in urban areas. The new corner radars in the front and rear bumpers deliver better assistance when at complex junctions where there is limited visibility. There will also be a new interior rear-view mirror camera for eye-tracking to monitor fatigue.
Both the Škoda Elroq and Enyaq have performed well on the market with the Elroq producing over 112,000 units and 150,000 orders recorded. Since 2020, both the Elroq and Enyaq have produced a total of 300,000.
