Škoda have expanded their best-selling Karoq with the high-spec Design Edition. It will feature a dynamic exterior styling and new Lodge interior selection.
The new Design Edition will be placed between the SE Edition and the SE L Edition models in the revised model range. Starting from £31,610, it comes with a suite of additional features and equipment, and only £650 more than the SE Edition.
The Karoq Design Edition features a dynamic exterior and a host of elements for its stylish and striking look. The 18-inch Hydrus black alloy wheels complement the black door mirrors and radiator grille, as well as the black roof rails, extended rear spoiler and the Škoda and Karoq lettering in black on the tailgate.
Inside the Karoq is a Lodge interior design. This features black fabric upholstery with technology that is sure to please Škoda customers. As part of the new trim, customers can expect Drive model select with the ECO function as standard. Additionally, it will also have an Amundsen touchscreen satellite navigation system with an 8-inch screen, an eight-speaker sound system and a 10.25-inch Virtual cockpit driver display.
Customers can also expect to drive in comfort with the heated front seats, a two-spoke heated leather multifunction steering wheel and a rear view camera for additional support on tricky manoeuvres. For ease, the Karoq Design Edition comes with a Keyless entry and start/stop system as standard.
There are two powertrain options available with the Karoq Design Edition. Customers have a choice between 1.0 TSI 116PS or a 1.5 TSI 150PS unit. Each of the powertrains is equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5 TSI 150PS is also available with a seven-speed DSG transmission.
The Karoq Design Edition is available from £31,610 for the 1.0 TSI 116PS and from £34,235 for the 1.5 TSI 150PS DSG variant. Orders are open on 1st July with deliveries expected at the end of July.
