In honour of Škoda's heritage, for their latest concept, they have reimagined the classic Škoda Favorit. This 1980s icon, having been developed under the Iron Curtain with limited resources, has been reinvented as a fresh electric design, honouring its automotive history.
Designer Ljudmil Slavov has revived the innovative model.
“This is a tribute to the Favorit, so I carefully studied the original details, aiming to evolve and elevate them. Simplifying an already minimalistic shape into the Modern Solid style was genuinely challenging”.

A distinctive part of the Favorit is the headlight design. In the 1980s, the Bertone design house incorporated large, mass-produced headlamps into the car’s design. This is something which has been re-imagined with the New Favorit.
Slavov utilised ultra-slim LED strips at the front and rear, behind semi-transparent covers which mirror the size of the original headlights.

The new Favorit feels modern while retaining recognisable assets from the original.
This is a step forward for Škoda. They are showcasing their inventive past with their re-imaginings incorporating tradition with innovation.
