Škoda Auto India has introduced the all-new Škoda Kylaq, marking the Czech automaker's debut in India’s highly popular sub-4-metre segment, which represents nearly 50% of the country's car sales. The Kylaq SUV is the first in India to showcase elements of Škoda’s latest "Modern Solid" design language. Equipped with a fuel-efficient 1.0 TSI engine, it comes with over 25 standard active and passive safety features. Developed and manufactured locally for the Indian market, the Kylaq is set to launch in early 2025 at an impressively competitive price.

The Škoda Kylaq combines compact dimensions with a roomy interior, excellent handling, and 189 mm of ground clearance, making it ideal for both city drives and off-road trips. Measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,783 mm in width, and 1,619 mm in height, it offers a 2,566 mm wheelbase. Powered by a 1.0 TSI engine delivering 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque, the Kylaq comes with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. It reaches a top speed of 117 mph and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 10.5 seconds with the manual option.
The Škoda Kylaq debuts as the brand’s first sub-4-metre SUV in India, showcasing the new "Modern Solid" design language. Key features include a glossy black grille with 3D ribs, aluminum-look front spoiler, and sleek LED headlights with the iconic four-eye look. With clean lines, robust cladding, and a hexagon rear pattern, the Kylaq has a confident SUV stance. Available in five colors, it introduces the striking Olive Gold finish.
The Škoda Kylaq's interior is designed with simplicity, clean lines, and sustainable materials, offering a spacious layout. It leads its segment with 446 litres of boot space, expanding to 1,265 litres with rear seats folded, along with "Simply Clever" storage solutions like a parcel tray stowage, door storage, and center console compartments. Other conveniences include bag hooks, Smartgrip bottle holders, and a phone holder. A 10.1-inch infotainment display provides wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while an 8-inch Digital Cockpit offers key driving data like speed and tyre pressure.
