The new Volkswagen ID.7 GTX and ID.7 GTX Tourer are now available to order in the UK. Offering an improved performance and dynamic styling, the GTX enhances the already incredibly popular ID.7.
The GTX models have 86 kWh with the addition of a front motor, resulting in an increase of power from 54 PS to 340 PS. This makes the GTX model the most powerful electric vehicle in the Volkswagen ID. line-up, with the ability to go 0-62mph in just 5.4 seconds. Surprisingly, the ID.7 GTX Tourer, with 605 litres of luggage space and five people on board, can do the same sprint in just 5.5 seconds. The GTX models offer an impressive electric range, with the ID.7 GTX range of 366 miles and the ID.7 GTX Tourer electric range of 359 miles. Both models can charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 26 minutes.
These new models offer the same luxury interior and high-tech equipment as the current ID.7, with the added specification including 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels, GTX exterior styling, ventilated and heated massage seats in the front and heated rear seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and Volkswagen’s DCC adaptive chassis control system with driving profile selection.
Many features are included as standard, including the IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, unique GTX daytime running lights, an augmented reality head-up display, GTX-specific interior styling, and Volkswagen’s IDA voice assistant with integrated ChatGPT.
The new ID.7 GTX is now open to orders for UK customers and starts from £61,980 and the ID.7 GTX Tourer starts from £62,670.
