Vauxhall has recently announced updated pricing for the New Grandland Electric, offering customers impressive savings of up to £4,700.
The New Grandland Electric now starts from £37,345 OTR for the Design trim, offering a saving of £3,650. The GS trim is now £38,495 OTR, saving £4,650 and the Ultimate trim sees the largest reduction of £4,700, now priced at £40,495 OTR.
The Design and GS trims are now priced under £40,000, resulting in vastly improved road tax savings as they are now below the threshold for the additional ‘expensive car supplement’ rate of VED. This means savings of £1,640 in VED over four years, around £40 per month. The revised pricing also means the gap between Hybrid and Electric has narrowed, so customers can find the vehicle that works best for their lifestyle at an even better price.

The New Grandland Electric tops Vauxhall’s refreshed SUV line up, and is the first to be based on the STLA Medium platform. It boasts an impressive electric range of up to 325 miles, with a 160kW rapid charging capability allowing it to charge from 20 – 80% in just 26 minutes.
The revised pricing of the Grandland Electric follows recent price changes to other models in Vauxhall’s electric line-up, in a bid to make electric driving more attainable for drivers. The Corsa Electric is now available from £29,045 OTR in Design trim, with GS and Ultimate versions from £31,230 OTR and £33,040 OTR respectively. The Corsa Electric Long Range is now also available in entry-level Design trim for the first time, priced from £30,440 OTR. Meanwhile, the Astra Electric Design is now priced at £34,945 OTR, with GS and Ultimate trims priced at £37,240 OTR and £39,395 OTR respectively.
The New Frontera Electric was also recently revealed by Vauxhall, which will be available for the same price as the Hybrid version at £23,495 OTR. Vauxhall has become the first manufacturer to offer list price parity between electric and hybrid versions of the same car.
