Vauxhall Reveals New Look Mokka
New Vauxhall Mokka

Vauxhall has revealed its new look Mokka, featuring a crisper, more modern design. The compact SUV has been updated inside and out, with new accents and new technologies to make the model even more desirable.

"Our new Vauxhall Mokka is bold, pure, and unmistakable. A car full of character that stands out in the crowd. Its current popularity alongside Corsa Electric means Vauxhall is the leading brand for electric sales in the combined B-segment. We are committed to making electric mobility accessible to everyone, with a fully electric version of each model in our line-up set to be available by the end of the year."

- James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall

The Mokka’s look has not been completely overhauled so as to keep its well-known characteristics but elements have been enhanced to create an even more striking model. A newly designed, aerodynamic front bumper with black Vizor now integrates headlights and Griffin into one sleek element. Front and rear LED lights with three ‘lighting blocks’ creates an eye-catching and contemporary look. A new black line runs from the bonnet to the rear above the side windows for an additional design element. Additionally, Mokka GS variants and upwards will feature black cladding on the front, rear and wheel arches. Newly designed aero wheels are also available on the Mokka Electric.

Inside, the cabin has been simplified to focus on the essentials, with new flat bottom and top steering wheel and matt silver centre console. Some settings previously controlled by buttons are now integrated into the central colour touchscreen. All fabrics in the cabin are made from recycled materials, adding to the model’s green credentials.

A new multimedia and navigation infotainment system helps take the new Mokka to the next level, offering a 10” digital driver information display and 10” colour touchscreen as standard, the latter of which can be operated by natural voice recognition. Many customisation features are available and both screens can be personalised to suit, recognising the driver’s personal profile from the connected smartphone. Updates to the integrated navigation system are made available wirelessly so drivers can always be up to date. Mokka Electric models offer EV routing and charging station information via the infotainment system.

The new Mokka is available in ‘Design’, ‘GS’ and ‘Ultimate’ trims and customers can choose between an efficient petrol engine and two electrified versions. The new Mokka is offered as a hybrid with 48-volt technology and as a fully electric, emissions-free model. The electric version is available with a 115kW electric motor and 54kWh battery, offering up to 250 miles of range. The hybrid version combines a 100kW 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine with 21kW electric motor, meaning many urban drives can be enjoyed emissions-free.
