Vauxhall have revealed their new concept car, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo which is a fully electric compact car that has a top speed of 199mph.

With the boundary-pushing design and engineering, it embodies the essence of the Vauxhall GSE performance sub-brand.

“The Vauxhall Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo takes the GSE sub-brand to the next level. It not only shows what is possible on a small car platform, it also displays a clear view to the future. Taking the iconic Corsa nameplate and combining it with GSE high-performance engineering results in a breathtaking concept that will deliver OMG! GSE moments. For the first time, everybody will be able to drive this stunning concept car for themselves in Gran Turismo 7”.

- Steve Catlin, Managing Director, Vauxhall

It features a fully electric powertrain with dual 476hm electric motors and delivers a combined 800hp and 800Nm of torque. Impressively, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo can reach 0-62mph in just 2.0 seconds. Its high performance runs on a 82kWh battery.

With a powerful and muscular appearance, the concept car features a similar footprint to the standard Corsa. The Griffin is illuminated at the centre of the Vauxhall Compass. There are lightning bars on both sides of the emblem showcasing Vauxhall’s design language.

The concept car has been designed with aero-efficiency in mind. There are aero skirts in front of the front and rear bumpers with aerodynamic alloy wheels to increase efficiency.

A bold contrast of colours further accentuates the impressive design. Finished in a pearl white with a vivid yellow on the aerodynamic elements. The roof and front aero wheelarch are finished in a black for the bold contrast while the 21 inch wheels feature black and yellow rims.

Inside the cabin features a sleek design. The driver’s sport seat is designed in black and yellow fabric, following the bold colour scheme. There are onboard sensors to alert the drive by the illuminated fabrics that cover the dashboard and door inserts about other vehicles.

The concept car will be on display at the IAA Mobility 2025 and able to play in Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in autumn.
