The New Grandland stands at the top of Vauxhall’s SUV lineup, showcasing bold design elements inspired by the Vauxhall Experimental concept. The New Grandland is the largest SUV in Vauxhall’s revamped range. It’s size ensures maximum passenger comfort, ample interior space, and generous storage capacity. The new STLA Medium BEV-native platform has a flat battery design; this platform supports a 98 kWh battery, delivering an electric range of up to 435 miles.
Every New Grandland comes with standard 19-inch alloy wheels and a body-coloured rear spoiler. The GS and Ultimate trims add black diamond-cut wheels, a contrasting black roof, and high-gloss black bumpers and spoilers. The Ultimate Electric further elevates the look with 20-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof.
Inside, the new Grandland features a driver-focused 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In front of the driver, a fully digital 10-inch instrument cluster displays key information. GS and Ultimate trims upgrade to a larger 16-inch infotainment screen and include wireless smartphone charging. Vauxhall’s ergonomic seats are made from 100% recycled materials that prioritise comfort and are AGR-certified.
The New Grandland introduces a fully electrified lineup, including the all-electric New Grandland Electric. Equipped with a robust 73kWh battery and a 210PS motor, it offers a range of up to 325 miles on a single charge. Energy-saving features, such as a standard heat pump, enhance efficiency, and it accelerates from 0-62mph in 9.0 seconds. Joining the line-up in the future will be the Long-Range version with a 98 kWh battery with a range of up to 435 miles.
The New Grandland Hybrid is also available, combining a 136hp 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor and 48-volt technology for impressive efficiency and performance. Paired with a new six-speed dual-clutch transmission, it can accelerate from 0-62mph in 10.2 seconds.
The New Grandland comes equipped with a comprehensive range of driver assistance systems. Standard features include Automatic Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Adaptation, and In Crash Braking, a system designed to help prevent secondary collisions after an accident. The Ultimate trim also includes the Intelli-Drive 2.0 system, which integrates various electronic aids, semi-automatic lane-change assist, and Recommended Speed Adaptation.
