Volkswagen unveiled the ID.3 GTX1 FIRE+ICE at the ID. Meeting in Locarno, Switzerland, in collaboration with luxury sports fashion brand BOGNER. Inspired by the iconic 1990s Golf Fire and Ice, the electric model features an exclusive 3-layer glass bead-effect paint and unique interior details, blending nostalgic design with modern electric innovation.

The ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE stands out with its exclusive 3-layer Electric Violet pearl paint, inspired by the 1990s Golf Fire and Ice. The special glass beads in the paint create a dynamic colour shift from dark blue to violet or black, depending on the light. Red anodised accents and a geometric FIRE+ICE pattern on the sides enhance its sporty look. Unique 21-inch rims with a blue anodised finish and the classic FIRE+ICE logo on the B-pillar complete the striking design.
Inside features a two-tone design. The driver’s side showcases Flaming Red accents ('FIRE'), while the passenger side displays ice blue elements ('ICE'). Stainless steel pedals are marked with the 'FIRE' and 'ICE' logos for acceleration and braking. The instrument panel and floor mats feature a laser-engraved 'FIRE+ICE' pattern. Inspired by BOGNER’s FIRE+ICE collections, the quilted seats reflect the design of down jackets, with hidden original FIRE+ICE fabric from the 1990s underneath and webbing from the collection used behind the front seats.
The FIRE+ICE version of the ID.3 GTX Performance features Volkswagen's most powerful electric motor, delivering 240 kW (326 PS) and 545 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h. Equipped with a GTX-specific chassis and Sport DCC adaptive control, it offers impressive handling. The 79 kWh battery supports DC fast charging up to 185 kW, recharging from 10-80% in about 26 minutes, with a WLTP range of up to 374 miles..
