The new fully electric Volvo ES90 has started production for European markets. This is a big step towards a fully electric future for Volvo.
The sleek electric sedan is one of the first Volvo cars to feature the 800-volt technology to ensure longer range and faster charging than other electric Volvo vehicles.
To stay on top of the latest safety technology, the Volvo ES90 will be powered by next-generation core computing and developed using the Superset tech stack which allows for the ES90 to evolve with future software updates.

The ES90 is a blend of the sedan, fastback and SUV, being in a league of its own where it does not compromise on comfort or space.
Reflecting Volvo’s commitment to sustainability, the ES90 has been produced using climate-neutral energy at Volvo Cars’ Chengdu plant, and has one of the lowest carbon footprints of a Volvo car at present.
The ES90 can be ordered across several European markets with deliveries to begin later this year.
