Volvo is extending its choice of trims on its EX30 and XC90 models. The brand is introducing an entry-level EX30 Core trim to increase the affordability of its small electric SUV, whilst the new Plus Edition and Ultra Edition XC90 trims add further luxury to the larger model.
The new entry level EX30 Core specification is available with two powertrains: Single Motor with a range of up to 209 miles, and a Single Motor Extended Range, offering up to 295 miles. Equipment included is extremely generous, featuring a rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, automatic LED headlights and 18” alloy wheels. The model also boats a 12.3” touchscreen system with Google built in.
The EX30 Core Single Motor starts at £32,850, whereas the Single Motor Extended Range starts at £37,050. First deliveries are expected in early 2025.
The XC90 is benefitting from two new trim levels; Plus Edition and Ultra Edition, which will replace the current Plus and Ultra grades respectively. The Plus Edition offers perforated Nappa leather upholstery with ventilated front seats, tinted windows and 21” alloy wheels (previously 20”). The Ultra Edition boasts 22” wheels (previously 21”), while the price for both grades include all exterior paint choices.
Both new XC90 specifications are available with B5 petrol and T8 petrol-electric plug-in hybrid powertrains. Orders are open now, with first deliveries expected this autumn.
The new Volvo EX30 Core and XC90 Plus Edition/Ultra Edition trims are available to order now, starting from £32,850 and £69,425 respectively.
