From October through November, Uber riders in London can indulge in luxury and sustainability in one ride, thanks to a fleet of ultra-luxurious Lotus Eletre Hyper-SUVs joining the Uber Green line-up for a limited time. Riders can book these state-of-the-art electric vehicles via the Uber Green option in the app, experiencing the future of zero-emission travel first-hand.

With almost 30% of Uber’s trips in London now fully electric, this initiative aligns with the city's goals for a cleaner, greener future. To motivate more riders to choose electric options, Uber has also launched a special challenge: the rider who saves the most emissions by using Uber Green through the end of November will win free Uber Green rides for the next ten years.
Launched in central London in 2021, Uber Green lets riders book zero-emission rides at the same cost as an UberX. Since then, it has helped save 55,000 tonnes of carbon emissions in the city. Drivers on Uber Green trips also earn 10% more per ride compared to UberX, and they are transitioning to electric vehicles five times faster than the average motorist.
