Safety Features

The Superb has a choice of driver-assistance systems including Dynamic Chassis Control Plus, which allows the driver to customise the vehicle’s handling and choose between Sport to Comfort, allowing you to tailor your journey to the road conditions. 

To ensure you are driving safely, Blind Spot Assist detects vehicles that you may not be aware of, and Front Assist with Predictive Pedestrian and Cyclist Protection alerts stops the vehicle to prevent a collision.

Plug-In Hybrid Technology

The Superb is also available with Plug-in hybrid technology, offering up to 62 emission-free miles. Powered by an electric motor and powerful 25.7kWh lithium-ion battery, this model is perfect for city driving. For those longer journeys, the 1.5 TSI petrol engine with 204PS total power output provides a smooth and comfortable ride. 

Prepared for any situation you can choose the driving mode to suit your environment, by simply pressing the E-mode button the Superb will be powered purely with electricity. In Hybrid mode, the electronics automatically regulate the use of the petrol engine and the electric motor. Alternatively, choose Sport mode for a dynamic drive, using the maximum power from the petrol engine and the electric motor.
