The Škoda Superb has been named Best Family Car 2025 in the annual UK Car of the Year Awards. The judging panel praised the vehicle for its all-round ability and impressive practicality whilst also being value for money.
The UK Car of the Year Awards name just seven sector winners with one overall winner taken from the list of individual winners. The overall UK Car of the Year is set to be revealed on 6th March after a final round of judging.
The judging panel is made up of a host of established names across the UK motoring media, including journalists from Top Gear and Auto Express, as well as high profile freelance experts.
On the Super, Top Gear’s Ollie Marriage commented: “The world may be changing fast, but there’s still so much to be said of a car that knows precisely what it’s for.” Auto Express Editor Paul Barker added: “Clever, spacious, good quality and really good at all the stuff families will appreciate. Just a great all-rounder.”, while The Daily Telegraph’s Alex Robbins summed up the panel’s opinion by saying: “There simply is no better family hauler on the market today.”
This is not the first time the Superb has won an award, claiming the Best Estate at the Auto Express Award 2024, Best Estate 2025 by Carbuyer and Comfortable Cruiser of the Year by Carwow.
