Unmistakably Golf

The new Golf has kept the recognisable exterior with a few added touches to create a stylish and modern presence. 

The exterior has an elegant design, and new headlights frame the front with an optional dynamic turn signal, making it a real eye-catcher. The optional IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights have a high-performance main beam with matrix technology, giving you better night vision. 

Incredible Interior

The new Golf is packed with more style for a luxurious appearance and touch. The addition of the new seat covers in a choice of fabric or ArtVelours and the high-gloss centre console adds elegance, with an optional 32.7cm infotainment display to keep up to date with news, navigation, and entertainment. The standard multifunction steering wheel with push buttons adds ease to driving.

Drive in comfort with sporty bucket-style seats that mould to your body for extra comfort, as well as being stylish with the new seat covers. 

Smart Technology

The new Golf has the innovative new optional IDA online voice assistance, which allows you to operate many features in your Golf with your voice. If you fancy changing the radio station or need to call someone from your address book, just say "Hello, IDA” followed by your instructions, and it will be able to understand and then complete your request. This will help drivers keep both hands on the steering wheel for safer driving. 

In the future, IDA will appear on your centre display with interactions enabled via graphics for an immersive experience.

Golf eHybrid

The new Golf is available with a choice of two engines: a 1.5-litre TSI with 115 PS or a 1.5-litre engine with 150 PS. The Golf Style is also available as a plug-in hybrid, paired with an electric motor and TSI petrol engine. The Golf eHybrid starts in electric-only mode, with zero local carbon emissions, and can travel for up to 66 miles just using the electric motor. 

In the e-TSI with mild hybrid technology, a starter generator supports the engines when you start your journey and travel at low speeds, as well as braking and rolling charges the lithium-ion battery.
