The new Volkswagen ID. Polo rewrites expectations around compact electric driving. Familiar in name, fresh in every other sense, it blends clever packaging, confident range and a distinctly grown-up feel. Five seats, a generous 441 litres of boot space and technology borrowed from larger classes make this far more than a city companion.

Designed to feel instantly familiar

Inside the Volkswagen ID. Polo, everything feels considered rather than crowded. Physical buttons return alongside a crisp digital cockpit and large infotainment display, creating an experience that feels intuitive from the first touch. Decorative stitching, retro-inspired displays and calm ergonomics create a cabin that’s full of warmth, character and a premium atmosphere throughout.

Everyday electric without compromise

Three power outputs, rapid DC charging and up to up to 280 miles* on a single charge give the Volkswagen ID. Polo genuine flexibility. One-pedal driving simplifies stop-start traffic, while Connected Travel Assist with traffic light recognition adds another layer of intelligence. Clever front-wheel-drive packaging also unlocks surprising practicality, with luggage space rivalling cars from the class above.

GTI energy, rewired

The icon that lives on! The Volkswagen ID. Polo GTI carries five decades of GTI spirit into an electric future. Producing 226PS, it pairs sharp acceleration with everyday usability. Adaptive DCC suspension, differential lock and dedicated GTI drive mode create a compact car engineered around pure driving enjoyment.
